Speed Dating by Joseph A. Elmore Jr. (2010, 85 min.). Coming off a successful run at the 2010 Pan-African Film Festival where it picked up the “Audience Favorite Award,” Speed Dating follows the comedic journey of three immature bachelors who devise the ultimate scheme to get money and women—speed dating! Everything seems to be going as planned until the guys are denied their liquor license and an angry ex-girlfriend works to expose their scheme. Maturity and love prevail, as the race for happiness ends with three unlikely winners.
